Last December, my students made a Christmas chain similar to this one. Each time a student finished a holiday piece, they wrote their name and piece on a green or red piece of paper. It was fun to watch the chain grow!
This year, I asked one of my students to make a Christmas tree for me. I then bought ornament clipart off Etsy. Each time a student finishes a holiday piece this year, they write their name and piece on an ornament to decorate the tree. Students are really enjoying watching the tree fill up with ornaments. They also like to see what other pieces students are learning.
